We were never traditionalist when it came to planning our wedding and so when it came to the honeymoon two weeks in a swanky hotel sipping cocktails with other loved couples was not an option. (although as we currently sit shivering in Wales waiting for the campervan to get to 100% it is something of a temptation) I should also admit that I do not like to fly and haven’t been in a plane for 8 years so while it isn’t the reason for our trip it is part of the reason that a Caribbean destination was off the agenda. We wanted to think outside the box and do something we would remember forever. Somehow we came up with touring around Europe in a VW Campervan and once we had the idea it was hard to shake off.

The trip for us is all about taking some time while we have the opportunity and really seeing some of Europe…..normally when we go away it takes 4 days to relax and before you know it you are off home again. We want to see and learn as much as we can as well as enjoying time doing nothing all the while living in the back of a van! We have never been in a Vw Camper before so things are likely to get interesting… and we figured we might as well put the marriage to the test a few weeks in!!
