Hello sailors!
So last 48 hours been interesting, broke down, couldn’t fix on roadside, found Ginger Vw’s, towed there, went to cheap hotel, saw pub fight(don’t bother ever going to Waterlooville), heard this joke being made ‘Andy you want a shandy?’ cue whole pub laughing, hanging out with Ginger and mechanics, back on the road, head to West Wittering campsite, book in for night, engine cuts out, call ginger, he heroically comes to the rescue driving to us at campsite and fixes, park up, cook first meal on cooker in British sunshine, another great sleep in Bug (sort of name for camper), wake up/pack up, go 1 mile down road where some of my dear friends are holidaying, spend day in sun and on beach, head off to port, nervous journey, me nervous about sea sickness (silly), make it, great boat (cinema, spa, wifi, nice cabin….a beer or two)…..and…..relax! Spain….we are on our way!

I am trying to cross the border into Spain too though – maybe a meeting of campers and swapping of stories would be fun 🙂
Hello! Sorry for late response – we have been Making our way from Bilbo towards Barcelona. Currently suffering from electrical issues which means we can only start the engine by rolling it down the hill! Makes picking a good camping spot harder than ever!
Sounds like yours is a real adventure – hope not too frustrating and that it means you are able to soak a lot of local custom and perhaps wine!
We are in Barcelona for a bit and then getting ferry to Italy – let us know how you are getting along

OK! My Cecil is finally back on the road so I’m starting my journey to Italy the slow way… I’m meeting a friend in Provence tomorrow and hanging out there for the weekend, then meeting up with family and finally driving East. Let me know when you’re catching the ferry! Add me on Facebook 🙂
