Alas, we are fools….apparently the advice to bring your vehicle registration document is more of a rule than a guideline. So….we are still on Italy. We realised, after much pleading with the ferry terminal that there was no negotiating and the simple fact was we we not getting on the ferry with out the right documents.

And so we are now ‘stuck’ in a campsite 30meters from the sea in a little town outside the slightly horrible Bari – listening to the tennis and awaiting the documents arrival either Monday or Tuesday. We hope for a ferry Tuesday night…and until then we have a s@!* load of washing and some delayed Croatian plans to make!

At least we will know the way to the ferry terminal next time….until then…come on Murray!!
